May 6, 2025

Campbell played in 19 games last season with Scarborough to begin his professional career

The Scarborough Shooting Stars of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday that they have re-signed Jaden Campbell.

The 6-foot-5 guard began his professional career with the Scarborough Shooting Stars and averaged 6.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 12 minutes per game through 19 games last season.

The Brampton native played overseas where he averaged 16.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.8 minutes of play through 38 games with USK Praha of the Czech-Republic NBL, consistently putting up big numbers.

Campbell was named to Team Canada’s Senior Men’s National team training camp roster ahead of FIBA Americup 2025 Qualifiers. He will reunite with Scarborough Shooting Stars teammate Danilo Djuricic ahead of the 2025 season.

The Scarborough Shooting Stars will kick off their 2025 season on Sunday May 25 at CAA Centre against the Brampton Honey Badgers. Scarborough will then host the Ottawa BlackJacks at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre for their first home game on Tuesday May 27.
