Stingers Welcome CEBL Experienced Guard Bourcier
Bourcier has appeared in 65 games across five seasons in the CEBL

The Edmonton Stingers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday the signing of Canadian point guard Mason Bourcier for the remainder of the 2025 season. Bourcier began the 2025 season with the Winnipeg Seabears before mutually parting ways. Last season he averaged 20.6 minutes per game, and accumulated 110 points, 52 rebounds and 59 assists with the Seabears.
“I’ve always liked the style of basketball Edmonton plays and have heard nothing but great things about the organization and their professionalism.” said Bourcier, “ I believe Jordan Baker is a great coach and I’m excited to bring a spark wherever needed for the fans and organization.”
Bourcier joins the Stingers following a solid 2024 season with the Winnipeg Sea Bears. Over 20 games, he averaged 20.6 minutes per contest, collecting 110 points, 52 rebounds, and 59 assists. Known for his versatility, court vision, and two-way presence, Bourcier brings valuable experience and energy to an already dynamic Edmonton lineup.
"Mason is a CEBL veteran who takes pride in the things we value in our locker room. I expect him to fit seamlessly into our roster and help strengthen our depth at the guard position. He is a competitor and will impact the games on both ends of the floor for us." said Jordan Baker.
The 6’4” guard is expected to make an immediate impact as the Stingers look to improve through the CEBL season. A native of Kelowna, British Columbia, Bourcier played at both the U SPORTS and professional level through his first three years in the CEBL.
Bourcier and the Stingers will return to the Edmonton EXPO Centre on June 10th to host the Calgary Surge in their home opener. Tickets are available for as low as $20 per seat and can be purchased online or by contacting the Stingers head office via email ([email protected]) or phone (1-87STINGERS).
