Shooting Stars Sign Swingman Coke
Ontario Tech product recently averaged 19.0 points in 34 games overseas in Poland
The Scarborough Shooting Stars of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Sunday that they have signed Jayden Coke.
The 6-foot-6 swingman has played in the USA, Canada, Jamaica, Australia and Poland. He averaged 19.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 blocks and 2.0 steals in 32.7 minutes per game through 56 games for KKS Polonia Warszawa of the Polish 1Liga and Shepparton of the Australian Big V League. He played in the summer league for Elite1 Horizon of the Elite 1 Caribbean Basketball League (E1CBL).
Coke dominated internationally in the Polish 1Liga and the Australian Big V League. Named Player of the Week twice in both leagues, and Defensive Player of the Year in the Australian Big V.
He played his collegiate career at Snow College, Gillette College, Academy of Art, Vancouver Island University and Ontario Tech University. Coke averaged 11.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 20.7 minutes per game through 88 games throughout his collegiate career.
Coke joins Khalil Miller, Kobe Elvis and 2025 CEBL Draft picks David Walker, Koat Thomas and Samuel Wong on Scarborough’s 2025 roster.
The Scarborough Shooting Stars will kick off their 2025 season on Sunday May 25 at CAA Centre against the Brampton Honey Badgers. Scarborough will then host the Ottawa BlackJacks at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre for their first home game on Tuesday May 27.
